Belize": Day 4

Day 4:  Turneffe Diving

More incredible food and diving today.  We started the morning with blu skies, then a squall just before heading out to snorkel.

We postponed about an hour, then the day turns absolutely gorgeous.  The rest of the day was snorkel, cioppino for lunch (outstanding) and more snorkeling.

When we returned from snorkeling, the weather was so beautiful, I decided to get some photos of the resort.

This was followed by a beach bbq.for dinner.  The menu include a variety of salads, baby back ribs, chicken, sausage, shrimp kabobs, and grouper, just caught today. Yet another outstanding meal.

After dinner entertainment involved a hermit crab hunt followed by a crab race.  Although our crab was one of the smallest, he was the fastest.

Here is our winner crossing the finish line
and here he is in the yellow jersey.  Not sure if you can read his name, but it rhymes with Vance and his urine test was negative for EPO or any other banned substances.
He shared his prize with me, a glass of Makers Mark.

After our big victory today, I hope we can get a good night's rest.  Off tomorrow to meet up with Dave and Molly for the rest of our Belize adventure, into the jungle.
