I will write soon, but wanted to post these pictures. The hike to the gorillas was exhausting, but worth it. We saw a family of 15 gorillas with several young. I was sitting taking pictures and one of the baby gorillas approached me and all of a sudden reached out and stuck a finger onto my lens!
The trip down was made more exciting by a deluge that included thunder and lightning, but we made it, soaking wet and muddy.
A massage after the hike helped, but we are all hoping our muscles will not be screaming tomorrow. We are also hoping for a shorter hike to the gorillas tomorrow.
